International biotechnology company, biomega®, has appointed Susanne Stenskrog as its quality manager for its soon to be opened biorefinery in the Port of Hirtshals, Denmark.
The announcement comes prior to the biorefinery’s official opening in late summer, which will soon begin production for its recently launched human nutrition line, biomega® SalMe peptides.
Stenskrog joins biomega® from Danish Crown Foods as an experienced quality manager, working with some of the Nordic region’s biggest brands, including Tulip, Mou, Steff Houlberg and GØL. Here she was responsible for the maintenance and implementation of quality management systems in line with BRC, IFS, RSPO, Halal, QS and ecology accreditations.
With more than 30 years of experience in quality management, Stenskrog has an extensive skillset by working almost two decades with the Danish distiller De Danske Spritfabrikker, now owned by parent company Anora Group.

The Hirtshals biorefinery, which has been built from the ground up by the biomega® team, features top of the range biotechnology to deliver on the company’s high standards in salmon peptide and oil production.
