Biomega Presents Salmon Peptides As Driver For Pet Health In Latest PetFair SE Asia Webinar
Norwegian headquartered biosciences company Biomega Group (‘Biomega’) has shared insight into its latest research on salmon peptides at the PetXpert webinar, in association with the virtual pre-connect PetFair SE Asia event, earlier this month.
Hosted by Nordic PetFood Events on 14th October 2020, the PetXpert webinar brought together four petfood ingredients experts to discuss the latest trends in the industry, including Commercial Development Manager, Ronald Figee, from Biomega.
With many viewers in attendance, Ronald delivered a presentation on salmon peptides and proteins as a driver of health for pets. It was part of the one hour webinar that served as a preview for the PetFair South-East (SE) Asia event due to take place between 6th and 8th October 2021.
“We are passionate about pet health at Biomega,” comments Ronald Figee. “By joining other veterinary health and ingredients experts during the PetXpert webinar, we are sharing our knowledge with attendees to help build a brighter, more sustainable future for pets. With pet owners in the APAC region increasingly concerned about pet obesity, joint issues, cognitive health and more, the virtual pre-connect PetFair Asia event is a superb platform to communicate our latest research.
“Our unique patented enzymatic hydrolysis technology, combined with our collaborative ongoing research with ingredients specialists, demonstrates our ability to deliver added value to the pet nutrition market. By offering great palatability and highly digestible protein through our salmon peptide range, we can make a real difference to pet livelihoods.”
The webinar, named ‘Ingredients – The Essence of the Quality Pet Food’ will be available to download for all delegates registered for the PetFair SE Asia virtual event, including pet industry retailers, wholesalers, distributors, suppliers and veterinary clinic owners.
Home to some of the biggest names in the industry, PetFair SE Asia brings together more than 7,000 trade buyers across Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan every year. The tradeshow was initially scheduled for October 2020 but was postponed until October 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic. With the virtual pre-connect for exhibitors complete, the main event is now due to take place at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition centre in Thailand.
